Do emojis work for color-blind users?

Most do — emojis convey meaning through shape as well as color. But a few are problematic: the 🟢🔴 colored circles, the 🟩🟥 squares, and the ❤️💚 hearts-by-color are hard to tell apart for users with red/green color blindness. If an emoji is meaningful (not decorative), pair it with a word.
