Is it OK to use emojis in business emails?

Context matters. A 🙂 or 👍 in a friendly client email is fine and increasingly normal. Multiple emojis, emojis in a subject line, or emojis in a contract negotiation can read as unserious. The safe default is: match what the other side is doing, and lean slightly more formal than them.
